In any organisation, the useful information almost always exists. A margin slipping, an order nearly used up, an overdue invoice, an employee with no assignment next month: somewhere, a number says so. The trouble is that it says so in a report nobody opened, and this week’s internal announcement ends up in an inbox that is already full.
AlibeeZ deals with this where your teams go anyway: the home screen, the one they see when they log in. The panel above illustrates it: five alerts, each with its recipient, an internal announcement and a LinkedIn post, and below the two columns a pinned client balance.
A home screen that is yours
The AlibeeZ home screen is not a generic landing page the vendor fills. You decide what appears there, and it brings together three things:
- Your alerts: the ones you set, sent to the people you chose.
- Your reports: the ones you pinned from the report builder.
- Your announcements: the internal news you publish and, if you want, your LinkedIn posts.
Alerts and announcements are set in different parts of the admin area, but they land in the same place. That is the point: one screen to look at, rather than an alert in one tool, a table in another and an announcement in the mailbox.
Alerts: a trigger and a recipient
An AlibeeZ alert is set on a threshold, an event or a deadline, and you choose who receives it. Both halves matter equally: an accurate alert sent to the wrong person achieves nothing. That is why, in the panel, every alert carries the name of its recipient.
| Alert | What triggers it | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Kepler: margin below 20% | A project’s margin drops below a threshold | Management control |
| 3 timesheets missing | Expected time has not been filed | Manager |
| Verso order: 80% used | An order is nearing its ceiling | Project lead |
| Invoice 2026-0412: past due | A payment due date has passed | Billing |
| Aurora: nobody staffed in October | A period is not covered by anyone | Staffing |
These examples map onto what the AlibeeZ modules can watch. On projects, the gap between forecast and actual, and between effort sold and effort consumed, triggers an alert at the threshold you set, not at project close. On invoicing, alerts flag overruns: order ceiling, day pool, budget. On time entry, reminders go out about missing time, first to the employee and then to their manager (for instance the employee after two days, their manager after five). There is no month-end lock in AlibeeZ: late entries are recovered through these reminders, not by barring entry.
Pinned reports, up to date when opened
The AlibeeZ report builder has three outputs: Excel, CSV, and pinning to the home screen. A pinned report is not a frozen snapshot: like every AlibeeZ report, it reads the application’s own data, so there is no export to re-run to keep it right.
The panel shows a real home-screen widget, reproduced with demo amounts: the client balance. It displays total receivables split into five age bands (not due, 0-30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days, over 90 days), a link to the detail, the time of the last update and a control to refresh the data. For a finance team, it is the receivables view that appears on login, with no need to go looking for it.
The same applies to your own reports: a margin by office, a consumption tracker, or a column drawn from a custom field, built once and pinned where they will be seen.
Newsletters: your announcements and LinkedIn posts, not a mailing
In AlibeeZ, a “newsletter” is not an email. It is a communication area on the home screen your users see when they log in. Nothing goes out to an inbox.
Your internal announcements
This is where you publish what the whole company needs to know. The example in the panel is an announcement from the executive team: the annual offsite, its dates, and a pointer to the registration form, which sits in the AlibeeZ requests. The announcement informs, and the request form takes over for the action.
Your LinkedIn posts
The area can also relay your company’s LinkedIn posts. Your people are your best amplifiers, provided they see your posts go out. A certification announcement, a hiring post, an event write-up: on the home screen, they see them as they log in.
Who sets what
Alerts and announcements are among the levers you handle entirely yourselves, from the admin area:
- for an alert, you choose the trigger (threshold, event or deadline) and the recipient;
- for the home screen, you pin the useful reports from the report builder;
- announcements and the LinkedIn feed are driven from the same admin area.
If you would rather our teams did it, they will. And as with the other customisation levers, a setting can be tried on a test base, on your own data, before it reaches production.
What it changes
The home screen creates no new data. It shortens the time between the moment the data exists and the moment someone acts:
- a margin or consumption drift flagged at the threshold, to the person who can act, not found at the monthly review;
- an overdue invoice visible to the billing team as soon as they log in;
- pinned indicators that read the data the moment they are opened;
- internal communication that actually reaches its readers, without going through the mailbox.
Going further: the reports you pin are built as explained in the article on custom reports, the receivables behind the client balance are followed in detail in the article on collections and DSO, and the form an announcement points to is built as described in the article on request forms.
Frequently asked questions
Who receives an AlibeeZ alert?
C'est à vous de choisir ! Vous pouvez choisir une personne, un rôle ou un tag : contrôle de gestion, manager, chef de projet, ADV, staffing, BU. L'alerte est reçu directement par mail.
It is up to you! You can choose a person, a role or a tag: management control, a manager, a project lead, billing, staffing, BU. The alert is received directly by email.
How is an alert triggered?
By a threshold (a margin below a percentage, an order 80% used), an event (missing timesheets, an uncovered period) or a deadline (an invoice whose payment date has passed). You set the trigger and the recipient from the admin area.
Are newsletters sent by email?
No. They are a communication area on the home screen your users see when they log in: your internal announcements and, if you want, your LinkedIn posts. Nothing goes out to an inbox.
Are pinned reports up to date?
Yes. Like every AlibeeZ report, they read the application’s own data, so there is no export to re-run. The client balance, for example, shows the time of its last update and can be refreshed from the home screen.
